SUMMARY:Cosmo Jazz Festival
DESCRIPTION:A week of incredible free music across of the whole of the Chamonix Valley. No spot is too high for these pioneering event organisers who host incredible music with incredible sights. \nThe CONCERTS IN ALTITUDE take place during the day at various sites in altitude selected for their majestic scenery and exceptional panoramas. The concerts will incorporate these locations as naturally as possible and the artists who perform were chosen according to the sites and their music every natural setting inspires the organisers. \nThe concerts are free\, but access to the site using the ski lifts is payable. \nBy early evening\, it’s time for concerts in Chamonix Center\, from 5PM. The streets and squares in the heart of Chamonix are invaded by extraordinary musicians in residence throughout the festival. The Couttet Park becomes the focal point of the festival\, hosting a big covered stage from Tuesday 25th to Sunday 30th for concerts from 5pm to 11pm. In the heart of Chamonix\, next to Maison des Artistes\, you can also enjoy the Cosmojazz village with bars\, snacks and merchandising of the festival.

DESCRIPTION:One of the first summer running events in Chamonix it’s also one of the biggest. \nA series of world class trail running events from 10km to 80km distances and the famous vertical kilometre event\, attracting nearly 10\,000 athletes from around the world. \n**News**  The course of the Mont Blanc 80k race in 2018  will be the same than 2017. But\, after different controls the course length is 91km and 6220m of positive and negative height gain. The Mont blanc Marathon organisation has decided to reappoint the race “Mont Blanc 90k”\, maximum time for the race stay the same in 24 hours.
