Ski holidays should not be about waiting in queues to buy your ski pass. We have your ski pass ready and waiting for you on arrival. We do not charge you extra for this service, and guarantee that you won’t pay any more than you would at the kiosk.
There are a few types of passes that you can buy for lifts in the Chamonix Valley. It can be confusing so we make it clear below...
Cham Le Pass
Cham Le Pass is the cheapest pass. It gives unlimited access to all the pisted ski areas within the Chamonix Valley, ie Brevent, Flegere, Les Grands Montets and Domaine du Balme (La Tour/ Vallorcine), and all the beginner slopes in town. There is plenty of skiing on this pass to cover a week’s holiday, and there is easy access to many the off-piste areas at the sides of the pistes for those who a bit of off-piste experience without having to go back-country. This pass includes use of all the buses in town.
This pass is designed for people who want to come to Chamonix and experience the skiing of Chamonix without also paying for the off-piste lifts and the sightseeing options. It is particularly good for those on a short break who do not have the time to go and do all of the extras given on the Mont Blanc Unlimited pass.
Mont Blanc Unlimited
Mont Blanc Unlimited pass covers all the pisted ski areas within Chamonix Valley and the bus, mentioned above, but also includes unlimited access to: The Montenvers Train, entry to the Ice Cave, The Aiguille du Midi lift, the off piste lift at the top of Les Grands Montets, Les Houches ski area, Courmayeur ski area (Italy), and for those who buy a 6 day pass or longer it also includes unlimited access to Verbier (Switzerland).
This pass is designed for people who want to experience the skiing in Chamonix, but are also interested in visiting the sights, using the famous off-piste lifts, and is particularly good for those who have their own transport and wish to experience the neighbouring resorts of Les Houches, Courmayeur and Verbier.
Mont Blanc Pass
Mont Blanc Pass covers the areas mentioned for the Mont Blanc Unlimited pass plus Mont-Blanc Unlimited, plus : Combloux, Cordon/Sallanches, Les Contamines-Montjoie, Megève, Passy Plaine-Joux, Praz sur Arly, Saint-Gervais, Saint-Nicolas de Véroce.
Many of the resorts listed under the Mont Blanc Pass are between 40 – 2hr drive away from Chamonix. Unless there are a few resorts that you are very interested in visiting in particular and you are planning to travel around by car, then it is probably not necessary to buy this pass.
Please note that the ski-bus transport included with the pass is only provided to the ski areas within Chamonix Valley. If you have bought the Mont Blanc Unlimited pass or the Mont Blanc Region pass to access areas outside the Valley you will need to arrange your own transport.
