The SnoStation Guide to Cheap Eats & Drinks;

Monday Night Half Price Burgers @ Monkey Bar

Every Monday evening between 18hr and 20hr Chamonix Sud’s Monkey Bar host their weekly ‘Half Price Burger Night’. With great homemade burgers costing just 6 or 7 Euro’s it’s no surprise that whatever the time of year it can be difficult to find a table! Get their nice and early to avoid disappointment and don’t forget to try the sweet potato fries!

Monday Half Price Chicken Wings @ Micro Brasserie de Chamonix-MBC

On the other side of town, it’s all about the chicken wings. MBC not only serves up some great beers but on Monday evening you can get your hands on their famous chicken wings for half the price. Jalapeno Hot are our favourite but can you handle the heat!

Taco Tuesdays @ Monkey Bar

We’re back at Monkey Bar once more this week and this time it’s for ‘Taco Tuesday’ with 1.50 Euro Tequila shots if you fancy starting your weekend early!

Wednesday 10 Euro Jugs @ Micro Brasserie de Chamonix-MBC

With seven locally brewed beers on tap Wednesday night is the time to head to MBC if you are a bit of a beer snob. At just 10 Euro’s a jug you and your friends could work your way through all of them without breaking the bank!

Artisanal Hotdogs @ Cool Cats

Throughout the year Cool Cats are providing Chamonix with artisanal hotdogs produced from locally sourced products. With these deliciously filling hotdogs costing between 7 and 12 Euro it won’t break the bank and you can sleep easy knowing that you have helped reduce your carbon footprint by supporting locally sourced food! That’s certainly food for thought!

Plat de Jour @ Moo Bar

One way to keep the cost down is making the most of the Chamonix’s ‘Plat de Jour’ offers. With several to choose from it can be a difficult decision but we can certainly recommend visiting Moo Bar one lunch time. Along with the choice of 4 or 5 specials you can also fill up on their great freshly prepared salad bar which is complimentary when you order something from the delicious lunch menu.

Happy Hour @ Bar du Moulin

From 16hr to 18hr the very sophisticated Bar du Moulin offers ‘Happy Apero’. With Aperol Spritz costing just 6 Euro it’s a great spot to kick back and relax right next to the river.
