Booking Terms and Conditions

Contract Terms
VR Consulting Ltd trading as SnoStation ‘the Agent’ domiciled and registered at 20 Manor Park, Onchan, Isle of Man, IM3 2EP, registered in the Isle of Man, Tel + 44 (0) 1253 67 57 39, Mob + 33 (0) 6 73 49 45 06, email: stay@snostation.com, registration number 092631C represented by the brand name ‘SnoStation’ and website www.snostation.com shall include where appropriate its officers, associates and employees. The Agent will engage a local management company hereafter referred to as ‘Resort Management’ to perform all in resort duties & services, but will remain at all times responsible for all obligations concerning any bookings made with the Agent. ‘Group Leader’ refers to the person who makes the reservation, who must be a minimum of 18 years old. ‘Group’ refers to all persons included in the reservation. The Group includes any change of names to the original booking. By making a booking the Group Leader shall be deemed to have accepted the terms of these booking conditions on behalf of the Group. The Group Leader is responsible on behalf of all other members of the Group for all matters relating to the booking. ‘Third Party Suppliers’, are service providers which work alongside the Agent such as, but not limited to, ski schools and guiding companies, equipment rental companies and lift pass companies. The Agent may pass the Group Leader’s contact details to the Third Party Suppliers or vice versa but accepts no responsibility for the service they provide nor the cost of these services.

Payment
‘Acceptable Method of Payment‘ is by bank transfer direct to the bank account of the Agent, or by accepted credit cards and/or debit cards via the accepted online secure payment system (the Agent will confirm details of this on booking). Payment of local services may be accepted by the Resort Management, details of which will be confirmed directly. All payments by bank transfer should be sent in full and include all bank charges by the transferring bank and beneficiary bank and, where needed, any and all intermediary bank charges, so that the correct amount is received by the Agent. If paying by credit or debit card there is an additional charge of up to 3% to cover the Agent’s credit card charges.

No contract shall exist between the Agent and the Group Leader or Group until a minimum of 30% deposit has been received by the Agent through an Acceptable Method of Payment, and this has been noted by the Agent.

Security Deposit
The Agent shall hold a security deposit against the card of the Group Leader. Amount as mentioned on the booking confirmation. This amount will not be debited unless: there is damage/loss to the Property, it’s contents, building or common parts (see below Damage section in these terms and conditions); the Property is left in an unacceptable state of cleanliness including smoking in the Property (see below Cleaning section in these terms and conditions); there are any unpaid bills on leaving resort (for example but not inclusive: tourist tax, ski lessons/equipment hire/activities booked through the Agent). The amount held as security deposit will be released 7 days after final departure date.

Price
The Agent guarantees the price of the accommodation only, as quoted at the time of booking. The Agent reserves the right to increase or decrease the price of unsold accommodation at any time. No responsibility is taken for any prices provide on behalf of or via Third Party Suppliers or Agencies.

Accepted Currencies
The Agent only accepts payment in Euros by bank transaction, credit card or PayPal, details of which to be provided on booking. The Agent does not accept Cheques. Quotes cannot be provided in other currencies.

Termination
The Agent reserves the right to terminate without notice or liability the accommodation of any Group or Group Member whose behaviour is such that it is disruptive to the enjoyment of others (including neighbours) or cause damage to the property or that of any Third Party. This is entirely at the discretion of the Agent.

Deposit
Upon reservation, the Group Leader or Group must pay a deposit of 30% of the accommodation price quoted within 7 days, by an Acceptable Method of Payment.
In the event of cancellation the deposit will not be refunded.
Where reservations are made within 8 weeks of the commencement of the stay, full payment will be required to confirm the reservation.
Where reservations are made within 7 days of the commencement of the stay, full payment will be required immediately.

Final Payment
The remaining balance of the total price, including accommodation, tourist tax, credit card fees and additional services is due and payable by the Group Leader or Group, 8 weeks prior to the date of arrival. Where credit card details are provided for the deposit, the same details will be used for the balance payment, unless new payment details are provided.

Cancellation
The Agent requires written/email cancellation of any bookings from the Group Leader. The cancellation policy is as follows:
Within 7 days of confirmation of booking, any deposit paid is returned, unless the reservation is for a stay which is within those following 7 days in which case no monies will be returned.
31 days+ before stay: 30% of the reservation total will be withheld
30 days or less before stay: 100% of the reservation total will be withheld

When absolutely necessary and unavoidable, the Agent reserves the right to change the accommodation. In event of unforeseen circumstances, the Agent also reserves the right to cancel a Group reservation up until the day of your arrival. In this occurrence the Agent will:
a) endeavour to make alternative arrangements for accommodation of the same value if available, or if the Group Leader prefers;
b) offer a full refund of any monies paid for the accommodation
In the event that no alternative arrangements can be made a full refund of any monies paid for the apartment will be made. No other compensation will be offered.

The Group is unable to request a change of Property on arrival or during their stay. Any changes requested prior to arrival, with significant advance, will be considered and where possible, changes will be made at the appropriate fee, of which the Group Leader will be notified. Changes cannot be guaranteed and are at the discretion of the Agent.

Damage/loss
Prior to commencement of the stay, credit card details of the Group Leader or Group will be taken. In the event that the Agent deems the Group responsible for any material damage or loss to the apartment (fixtures/fittings/contents) and/or building and/or common parts or its effects during the Groups stay, any cost to rectify damage caused or replace items lost, will be charged to the credit card details supplied.
If there are any problems about the condition of the accommodation and any inventory discrepancy on arrival, the Group Leader/ Group should contact the Agent directly on the number available on the website within 24 hours of arrival or occurrence of the problem. The Group is unable to request a change of Property on arrival or during their stay.

Cleaning
Cleaning is provided for each apartment inclusive in the cost of the accommodation and includes, cleaning bathrooms, toilet, kitchen spaces, windows, and floors. It does not include removing opened food / beverages / rubbish from the apartment, or washing dirty crockery, cutlery, glassware, pans and cooking appliances or oven trays. Please remove all rubbish, opened and out of date foods and beverages before checking out of the apartment, and ensure that all crockery, cutlery, glassware, pans/ cooking appliances and oven trays are thoroughly cleaned, dried and put back in their place. An extra charge commensurate with the length of time and costs taken to make good any accommodation not left in an acceptable state will be made to the Group Leader’s credit card number. Note all Properties are non-smoking and and there will be be an extra charge

An extra charge will also be made where we consider the property is left in an excessively dirty state.

Arrival and Departure
All rentals start from 4:00pm and end at 10:30am. Apartments cannot be entered until 4:00pm on day of commencement of the stay or left after 10:30am on the day of departure, unless otherwise agreed with the Agent. These need to be agreed 48 hours before arrival for the check-in, and 48 hours before departure for the check-out. We do try to be flexible where possible so do ask if you have a special request.

Insurance
It is the responsibility of the Group Leader to ensure that each member of the party is responsible for the safety of all their own personal possessions, documents and equipment. The Agent does not accept any responsibility whatsoever for loss or damage to property, left luggage or possessions of any type at our accommodations, office or elsewhere, and or persons or third parties at any time.
Any injury to the Group Leader or Group or third party arising when inside or outside the apartment or premises is not the responsibility of the Agent.
It is up to the Group Leader to ensure that each member of the Group has all their own necessary medical and travel insurance documents to cover themselves fully before embarking on the holiday. No responsibility is or will be accepted by the Agent in respect of any such failure to insure wheresoever or howsoever arising.
It is a requirement under French law that no children under the age of six years are to sleep in the upper bunk of bunk beds. If they do and injury arises, the liability is totally dependent on the guardians of that child.

Parking
The Agent does not accept any liability for any loss or damage to any vehicles parked in private or communal carparks, on the street or elsewhere. The Agent does not accept liability for any parking fines or other fines received during or after the stay. All vehicles are parked at the owners risk at all times.

Force Majeure
The Agent does not accept any liability wheresoever or howsoever arising or pay compensation for:
a) any event which the Agent could not foresee or avoid. Such events include war, threat of war, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions such as lack of snow, and fire;
b) any cancellation, loss, delay or costs wheresoever or howsoever arising or connected with adverse weather or traffic conditions, avalanche, mud slips, slides and snow conditions and the effect any of these may have on travel arrangements, accommodation and activities;
c) limitations imposed by resort authorities, ski-lifts, ski school or ski hire operators;
d) travel arrangements made by the Group or on behalf of the Group.
The Agent does not accept any liability for personal injury or death wheresoever or howsoever arising caused to any visitor and/or any member of the Group for their duration of stay in the accommodation. This is not intended to exclude any statutory rights the Group and/or visitor may have.

Law
This agreement and any proceedings thereunder are to be governed by the laws of the Isle of Man and any legal issues to be determined by the courts of the Isle of Man.
