About us

SnoStation is the baby of Siobhan and Chris Ruppert, husband and wife team, owning and running self catered apartments in Chamonix.

After being bitten by the snowboarding bug, we decided to leave the sensible jobs and rainy climate of the Isle of Man to live the winter dream in Chamonix. Despite the decidedly unglamorous side of the ‘dream’ (ie linen sorting and toilet cleaning) we are still as passionate about Chamonix and what it has to offer. Unique amongst winter resorts in that it is just a good to visit in the summer, lots of fun and activities to do all year round.

We believe that the town should be accessible to everyone of every budget, therefore our aim is to provide high quality, clean, stylish and well maintained accommodation, at very affordable prices. We don’t believe that budget should mean bad, so all SnoStation apartments are kitted out with modern interiors – cool and cosy at the same time! They are all very central, only a few minutes walk from bars, restaurants, clubs, shops and ski transport. The apartments are really well equipped, all have great views and most have balconies.

We cater for your days off the mountain! All the apartments have TV's, and nearly all have PlayStation 2's which play games, CD's and DVD's. Those that don’t have PlayStation 2’s have DVD players.

It's a holiday concept providing more than just accommodation, we offer free services, helping you to organise all the elements of your holiday and making it as hassle-free as possible – :
- We get your lift passes in advance so you have them when you arrive
- We book your lessons and activities so you don’t have to worry about organising yourself and everyone else
- We get you 15% off ski hire at a shop close to you, and make sure that you get your hire equipment quickly and efficiently on arrival
- We book your restaurants and have local knowledge on the best places to go
